The Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow is now recruiting for 2020 entry onto the MRes Economics programme.
This two-year Master degree will provide comprehensive foundational training in economics, with the option to progress onto the PhD programme. The MRes includes extensive training in quantitative and qualitative research methods, as well as in formal modelling based treatment of the core areas of economics, and further training in chosen elective subfields.
The University is currently offering six studentships which will cover tuition fees and a stipend for up to five years, allowing students to receive comprehensive MRes training and to subsequently undertake research in a chosen field of economics, leading to a PhD.
