The annual Yenching Global Symposium, which will be held online from April 16-18, is currently accepting applications for 2021 Delegates. The symposium’s theme, “Shared Renewal: Recoupling East with West,” encourages participants to reflect upon the consequences of the pandemic; discuss solutions that build resilient and sustainable societies; and chart the recovery.
Students interested in becoming a delegate for the 2021 symposium must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Born after January 1, 1991;
Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any field at the time of application;
Will commit themselves for the entirety of the symposium, April 16-18, 2021;
Is proficient in English;
Has never attended any of the previous Yenching Global Symposiums or Yenching Social Innovation Forums; and
Bonus: Involvement in China-related activities: academic, voluntary, professional, or extra-curricular.

This annual symposium is hosted by Yenching Academy at Peking University. The Yenching Academy provides a rigorous Master’s program for the multidisciplinary study of China, with the hope of cultivating a new generation of global citizens.
