Near-Peer Leaders are student advisers supporting fellow undergraduate community members in putting their strongest, most authentic candidacy forward within a fellowship or research endeavor. Peer Leaders provide a supportive, safe, creative, and encouraging space for students to brainstorm ideas, receive feedback, and think about how to best articulate and genuinely present themselves, their research ideas, and/or their professional aspirations and community engagement on paper.
Near-Peer Leaders are eager to support Undergraduate Research & Fellowships through facilitating both group and individual advising sessions, and look forward to hearing from students.
If you would like to be connected with a Near-Peer Leader, please reach out to URF at firstname.lastname@example.org.
