Congratulations to Amanda Qi Xin Ong, CC’20 awarded a Princeton in Asia fellowship!

Congratulations to Amanda, who has been named a 2023 - 2024 Princeton in Asia fellow! Princeton in Asia (PiA) offers year-long service-oriented fellowships across the Asian continent in the fields of education, international development, environmental advocacy, journalism, law, and business. Deeply involved in the Asian American Alliance during her time at Columbia, Amanda graduated from the College with a double major in Creative Writing and Ethnicity and Race Studies. After graduating, Amanda earned an MA in Museum Studies at the University of Washington, Seattle, and she is interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of museum curation, cultural heritage preservation, and oral history documentation. Amanda will spend her fellowship year in Bangkok, Thailand as a Program Officer at the Siam Society of Royal Patronage, a cultural heritage society that runs a library and two historic house museums.
