American College of Cardiology - Young Scholars Program: Deadline 6/14/2024
The American College of Cardiology (ACC) Young Scholars Program is designed for undergraduate students who are interested in a career in cardiology, science, or health care. Their goal is to provide an opportunity for promising young students, that would otherwise not have the opportunity, to learn more about the careers available in the cardiovascular science.
The year-long program provides participants with exposure to education, networking, research opportunities, and mentorship that is specific to careers in cardiovascular medicine.
Eligibility - Young Scholars - College
To participate in the Young Scholars - College track, an applicant must be a:
Enrolled in an accredited 2- or 4- year college institution during the 2024-2025 school year
Attend a college, university, or other similar institution in the United States
Interested in the field of cardiology, science, or healthcare
Special consideration is given to applicants planning to apply to medical school, pharmacy school, post-baccalaureate programs, nursing school, or technician programs
