Providing grants to Columbia College and Engineering students to enable them to accept unpaid summer internships that will foster their career exploration

The Columbia University Center for Career Education Summer Funding Program provides funding to Columbia College and Engineering students participating in unpaid or low paid summer internships related to their career pursuits and/or academic studies, without having to worry about the financial burden associated with having little to no salary.

CCE monies are limited, and the selection process is competitive. Individual awards typically range from $300 to $6,500.

Eligibility is limited to registered rising Columbia College and Engineering sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, and have secured an unpaid internship for the summer by the application deadline.
