Columbia University’s Office of Government and Community Affairs offers stipends to undergraduate students who have secured summer internships in the local district offices or Washington, D.C. offices of a member of Congress.
To be considered eligible, undergraduates must have secured (or be about to secure) an internship with a Congressional office. There are no citizenship restrictions, but applicants must ordinarily be receiving Pell Grants as part of their financial aid package at Columbia.
The Office of Government and Community Affairs offers periodic information sessions about this and other programs during the academic year.
