Fully supported eight-week summer internship in Argentina, Germany or Hong Kong

Cultural Vistas Fellowships provide underrepresented U.S. university students an opportunity to advance their career goals, develop global competencies, and experience life in another culture. The fellowship offers a fully supported eight-week summer internship in Argentina, Germany or Hong Kong.

Each fellowship provides internship placement, travel to and from the internship site, accommodations throughout the program, pre-departure and post-program learning activities, visa application support and emergency medical insurance. Travel and accommodation expenses for pre-departure and re-entry activities in New York City are included in these benefits.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens enrolled full-time in U.S. colleges or universities as sophomores or juniors and maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or better. They must also be between the ages of 18 and 30 and have no formal prior work or study abroad experience. Candidates for work in Argentina or Germany should have some proficiency in the language of their destination.

Preference will be given to students historically underrepresented in international exchanges. These include (but are not limited to): Pell Grant recipients, veterans, first-generation college students, STEM majors, members of minority communities within the U.S. and non-traditional students.
