The Explorers Club offers grants to students conducting individual scientific or exploration research projects through their respective schools with a supervising instructor. Its Youth Activity Fund, in particular, offers grants to high school students and college undergraduates with an aim to fostering new generations of explorers dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge of the world.
Awards typically range from $500 to $1,500 per recipient, although a few awards may be granted up to $5,000. Each applicant must include a supervising instructor’s letter of support with his or her application. Awards may not be used to support tuition.
