Financial assistance for students on financial aid who wish to study abroad during the summer in Asia

The Nobuhisa and Marcia Ishizuka Global Fellowship in East Asian Studies provides financial assistance for students on financial aid who wish to study abroad during the summer in Asia.

Applicants must be current Columbia College rising sophomores, juniors and seniors in good standing with a 3.0 minimum GPA. They must be accepted on an approved Columbia program in Japan or be engaged in the study of other East Asian languages and cultures, with research and interests that include Japan.

Interested students should contact the Center for Undergraduate Engagement to discuss relevant study abroad programs.
