What is SROP? The Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) is a pathway to graduate education at Purdue University. 

This program is designed to provide equal access and opportunities to underrepresented and diverse students by preparing students for Graduate School by offering eight-weeks intensive research experiences, and graduate school resources that contributes to student's professional and academic growth.

SROP is a gateway to graduate education at Big Ten Academic Alliance universities. The goal of the program is to increase the number of underrepresented students who pursue graduate study and research careers by helping to prepare undergraduates for graduate study though intensive research experiences with faculty mentors and enrichment activities.
