Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Scholarships support women pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at ABET-accredited colleges and universities in the U.S. as they prepare for careers in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science. Individual awards range from $1,000 to $10,000 and may come from the national organization or local chapters—a single application places candidates in consideration for all awards for which they are eligible.
Eligible candidates must be women pursuing full-time study in the U.S. or Mexico who need assistance to meet their educational costs. Undergraduate candidates usually apply as sophomores or juniors, and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a four-point scale. First-year students may apply if they have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or better.
