Provide financial support to women pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace-related science and engineering fields

Zonta International’s Amelia Earhart Fellowships provide financial support and encouragement to women pursuing doctoral degrees in aerospace-related science and/or engineering fields in the U.S. or overseas. Each fellowship provides a stipend of $10,000, paid to the fellow, to assist with the educational expenses related to her graduate study; fellowships may be renewed for one year, for up to two years of support.

Candidates must be women with outstanding academic records and serious commitment to their academic and potential career fields. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field by the time they would take up the fellowship, and must be about to enter or continuing a suitable graduate program.
