Columbia Global is now accepting applications for the Columbia Global Internship Program (CGIP). The program is a multidisciplinary training initiative that offers Columbia University undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to participate in social impact projects and programs at Columbia Global. Interns will work alongside Columbia Global staff, faculty, and other academics to engage in the design, implementation and/or evaluation of strategy, programs or operations.
The internships include in-person opportunities in New York City and primarily virtual opportunities with Columbia's Global Centers around the world. Global Center interns may also have the opportunity for an in-person visit during a break in the academic year. These opportunities are open to students enrolled in any school within Columbia University and can be structured in alignment with various school or program practicum requirements. Internships will run from October 26, 2026 to April 30, 2027. Interns will receive a monetary award based on their start date and program schedule.
