William Yuen Yee Named Michel-David Weill Scholarship laureate

William Yuen Yee, CC’22, of Porter Ranch, California, has been named the 2022 Michel David-Weill Scholar. William graduated from Columbia College with a double major in Political Science and East Asian Studies. He is currently researching U.S.-China policy for Dean Thomas Christensen and writing analysis pieces on China's foreign relations.

As the 2022 Michel David-Weill Scholarship laureate, William will pursue a master's degree in International Governance and Diplomacy at the Paris School of International Affairs, where he will study international trade and the broader U.S.-EU-China triangular relationship.

The Michel David-Weill Scholarship, named for Sciences Po alum Michel David-Weill, is awarded annually to one American who exemplifies the Scholarship’s core values of academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to multiculturalism. The Scholarship covers the cost of tuition and living expenses during a two-year master’s program at Sciences Po.
