Application Spotlight: The Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Churchill, Gates-Cambridge, Knight-Hennessy The personal statement is a genre unto itself! This workshop will present approaches for thinking creatively and purposefully about how to write about your experiences, motivations, and goals within a fellowship application essay. We will explore the differences between a research statement and a personal statement, and brainstorm different topics that you may want to reflect upon as you develop this integral component of your fellowship application.
