Columbia Institutes Summit: Pathways to Undergraduate Research

Columbia undergraduates have access to exceptional research opportunities, but many students -- especially those early in their academic careers -- don't know how to find them, feel disconnected from peers doing research, or assume research "isn't for them." This summit is designed to address these barriers by creating a low-pressure, high-energy event that demystifies research, showcases student work, and builds community across departments and disciplines. It will bring together leaders from various research institutes and centers at Columbia with students in an informal, mixer-style event, with lightning talks from each institute and a chance for students to roam around and get acquainted with the research centers that make Columbia unique. No RSVP necessary. This event will be held in person in Hamilton 202 and will not be recorded.
