Through constructive analysis, this session will offer tips, advice, and strategies for effectively presenting your unique interests in writing, alongside highlighting opportunities to tie these interest(s) to a particular location, institution, or field-specific academic or professional. This workshop will also examine excerpts from previous fellowship applications to demonstrate how one might craft a persuasive narrative or articulate a clear research plan. Near-Peer Leader, Danielle Mikaelian will lead this interactive session, aiming to equip participants with identified, successful strategies which might be applied to their own fellowship essay(s).
