VIRTUAL PANEL Global Fellowship Alumni: Hear from Your Peers!

What was it like teaching English in India? How did you make friends outside of your lab in Madrid? Curious to learn more about the experience from those 'on the ground'?! To conclude our first annual Fulbright Week, URF will host a panel discussion highlighting the experience of Columbia alumni/ae who participated in a variety of global fellowship programs, focusing on the experience of applying to, being awarded, and participating and engaging with their new host community, including the Fulbright. Speakers will reflect on how a year abroad helped to shape their current academic and/or professional trajectory and what factors they considered when deciding to apply. Fulbright Week is a series of information sessions for an in-depth look at the program that offers research, teaching, and studying opportunities for a year abroad in one of 140+ countries.
